I began using Hadar Jacobson's clay for jewelry about a year ago. The learning curve was steep. The clay comes dry and I add water to reconstitute it. For this piece, I rolled out the white bronze and copper clay separately and cut circles. I alternated the copper and white bronze circles and place it in an extruder. I extruded the stack through the teardrop shaped disc to make a long cane. I cut the cane into slices about 2-3mm wide. These slices were condensed into a square mold to make the focus of the design. I made a larger rectangle piece for the back. The piece was sanded and prepared for firing in a kiln. After firing the piece was hand polished and the jump rings, chain was added
